What this site is:

This site is intended as a place where writers in all genres can learn, exchange ideas, and obtain specialized medical and forensic knowledge for their stories.
But, this site is not solely for writers. Lovers of books, movies, stories, and anyone with an inquisitive mind should find things of interest here. Hopefully things that make you think, stir your creative juices, and prod that small area of the brain that says “Ah Ha!” and then inevitably asks “What if?” or “Why?”

What this site is not:

The information contained in this site is provided for use in the context of fiction writing and story telling or for the development of a non-fiction work and should only be used for such purpose. These materials should never be used for diagnosis or treatment of any medical disorder since even the simplest medical issues discussed here require years of education and experience before being applied in a “real life” situation. Although I have endeavored to make the information accurate and scientifically correct, many subjects are simply too complex to explain in detail while addressing the nuances and controversies of modern medical knowledge. Such is the art of medicine.

The information found on this site is not to be used for any criminal activity or to bring harm to anyone.
